We kept hearing about the Heart of the Desert how it is a beautiful venue for a wedding. My husband and I thought it was out of our price range, their is no way we could afford it~ just wasn’t going to be an option for us. We originally planned the wedding for our grand daughter in Ruidoso National Recreation Park. Due to fire restrictions our plans were cancelled. We made an appointment with Marla and she was able to get us scheduled. She reduced our stress and gave us peace of mind. Marla provided impeccable service she worked with us on everything she was very organized. Marla handled every crisis that arose. We could not have done it with out her. We appreciate her professional, tranquil, calm, patient, and gracious behavior at all times. Marla went above and beyond through wind and rain. Truly, She was amazing from start to finish she pulled it all together for us. She made it a beautiful and memorable day that we will never forget. Thank you again for your services that you provide. I will definitely recommend how fantastic The Heart of the Desert is to everyone I know.

I just wanted to take a minute to express our gratitude toward Heart of the Desert and their staff. My husband and I had the most beautiful wedding ceremony imaginable on the patio last month. When we started planning our wedding I thought we would have to go out of town to find the perfect location. That was definitely not the case. The patio at HOD was PERFECT! It took minimal decorating, and looked like a fairy-tale come true. The staff was wonderful and they made sure that everything was just the way we wanted it and was executed without a hitch. I received so many compliments on the location and the staff. If I ever plan another big event I will definitely have it here. Marianne and her team were the absolute best! Heart of the Desert was the perfect venue for our happily ever after! The location has 360 degrees of views, the pistachios trees, mountains and a beautiful patio make the perfect back drop for any pictures. The staff was amazing and provide stellar service, not only that day, but the months leading up to the wedding. I didn’t have a wedding planner but they provided me with the tools and expertise from their event coordinator to help make our day special without leaving anything out. We were able to relax, enjoy each moment and have memories that will last a lifetime.
